A perfect little system!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already own an OG Switch, but with Nintendo's decision to only allow one island per console for the upcoming Animal Crossing title, they were able to squeeze out a little extra money from me. I was on the fence about the Lite, but ultimately decided the turquoise version was the way to go. Transferring my save data and downloaded games were an easy enough process. Plus I'm still able to play on my original Switch, so there's no issues with swapping gameplay between the two. Battery life certainly seems better, but I tend to keep my system plugged in at all times, so it's a bit of a moot point with me. Graphically I think games look better on the Lite than in handheld mode on the full-size Switch, which is definitely a plus. The only potential downside is if it ever gets joycon drift, since I'd have to send in the whole system. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen, lol. All in all, I'd say the Lite is definitely worth picking up...but I'd treat it more as a secondary system; I still rate the "big brother" Switch as the best one to buy.

Great switch for kids
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this switch lite for my daughter as a graduation present and she loves it! The size, the color, the game selection is great for her! She really loves it! For kids it’s $100 less than the regular one that we have at hone and it’s more portable! easy recommendation for parents with a switch in their house already! We also got clubhouse games with it which is perfect!

"This little lite of mine...."
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You may be on the fence about what version of the Nintendo Switch to pick up. If you play mostly on the TV, the regular model Nintendo Switch may be your best choice. But if you typically play most of the time in handheld only mode, the Nintendo Switch Lite may be just the right fit for you. Let me be honest and tell you that I have both models, the regular model as well as the lite model at the current time and actually prefer to use the lite more. Not only is it more comfortable to use in handheld mode given that it is one piece, but the overall build quality is much better as well. Of course the regular model of the Switch is more versatile in the way you can change the joycons to suit your mood at the time or add a traditional D-Pad for old school gaming. The lite on the other hand already has its controller permanently attached to the unit which makes it feel more stable and secure when playing in handheld mode, but is also has a traditional D-Pad built in which is different from the the four quadrant design of the regular model Switch joycon design. I really like the turquoise color of this system and it reminds me of earlier handheld consoles like the Gameboy Color and SP models that I used to play in my younger days. Just think about how you typically play games like this and whether the TV functionality of the regular model is something you would use on a regular basis, or do you play your games handheld all the time. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to have both models either.

Very good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wonderful console. I do kind of wish I bought the pink one instead, though! It's portable and easy to use for small hands. It's also more affordable than the other models. I have a regular Switch with a cracked screen, so I can always use that one in the dock to game on the TV, but I prefer to use this one for the mobility.

Great handheld system
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great purchased the switch lite to be able to play with my son. He wanted me to play his games with him, so I took the opportunity to bond with him over some fun games. Great purchase. Even better being a dad and a gamer with not so much to play games.

Made my kids Christmas wishes come true
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two Nitendo switches for my two older children for Christmas and they loved them so much. I am very happy that I was able to purchase my children’s Nitendo switches from Best Buy. Hopefully I can order myself one soon because watching my kids playing makes me want one. I am so glad I was able to get my kids their dream Nitendo Lites.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between Nintendo switch and switch lite?
Asked by Eva.
- A:Answer The Switch Lite has a 5.5 inch screen while the Switch has a 6.2 inch screen. In addition, the joy cons are integrated into the Switch Lite and are not removable. You can add additional Joy cons if you want though. The Switch Lite also lacks a kick stand as well. The biggest lost feature is the Switch Lite can not connected to the TV and it does not include a Dock either. You can only play games on the Switch Lite itself. Since the joy cons are not removable, it makes replacing them more difficult when experiencing issues and if you need the Joy cons repaired, you are without the system itself. Everything else such as memory card support, internal storage, amiibo, and game support is still supported. Also, one more thing. Due to the recent update of the new Switch revision, the battery life on the new Switch model is better than the Switch Lite as well.

Q: QuestionWill kids still be able to play fortnight on this switch console? Will all switch games work on this console?
Asked by Anonymous.
This question was asked about the related product: Nintendo - Switch Lite - Gray
- A:Answer Yes fortnite can be played on the switch lite. There are a few games that won't be playable but most will be. Keep in mind this system is best for a person who mainly plays by themselves or with people who already have a switch. If you want a system for kids to play together in the same room you should consider the regular 299$ switch.

Q: QuestionCan the Switch Lite go on websites and does it have apps like Youtube, Netflix, etc.? Also with the expandable memory card, can you watch movies on it? Thanks.
Asked by Geoff.
This question was asked about the related product: Nintendo - Switch Lite - Gray
- A:Answer It can only access YouTube and hulu. Nintendo was focused on making a game console first soi it doesn't have many of the internet features or apps like a phone or tablet. You also can't put movies on the sd card.
