In an interview with The New York Times, Quentin Tarantino has revealed he knew about the allegations against Harvey Weinstein and that he regrets not taking a stand against the producer.

“I knew enough to do more than I did,” the director said, citing several episodes involving prominent actresses. “There was more to it than just the normal rumors, the normal gossip. It wasn’t secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things.

“I wish I had taken responsibility for what I heard. If I had done the work I should have done then, I would have had to not work with him.”

In the interview, Tarantino said he knew of Rose McGowan's settlement with Weinstein and that his former girlfriend, Mira Sorvin, made him aware of her own experiences with the producer.

Tarantino and Weinstein have had a particularly close relationship, with Weinstein distributing all of the director's films since the beginning of his career.
