From the manufacturer
"The third album from bassist/songwriter Thundercat is whimsical and somber, funny and meaningful, sometimes all at once. Drunk's oddball soul confronts the challenge of just trying to live life." - Pitchfork

There is a LOT of stuff happening here, and I have to confess that if you give this a straight-through listen, it's hard not to notice that some of the tracks sound the same and blur together. You might dig that, but it turns an album that is just over 51 minutes long and makes it seem like it's much longer. And being that many of these tracks are barely a minute long, that's a lot of slight variations on things.
In a sense, the album is kinda drunk. It's tipsy, it's flowy, it repeats itself. It has some wild moments of genius ("Bus in these streets" and "Show you the Way" are two great examples) and it sometimes gets weirdly introspective and then it reminds you that twitter is okay but you also need to unplug sometimes.
I really dig it, warts and all.
Obrigatório.
